06/22/12Louisville Branch Makes way for the University and Upgrades it’s Facility
Equipment Depot of Louisville has moved from its tornado ravaged building to a newer and improved facility adjacent to the Louisville airport. The new location is more efficient, provides a better workspace for mechanics, and has a roomier environment for everyone.
The Louisville branch, formerly Levee Lift, celebrated its 25 year anniversary at the Floyd street location this year. But after the damage created by a massive tornado in June of 2011, it made more sense to find a facility that would better fit the company’s needs for the future rather than rebuild. It also paved the way for improvements to be made at the University of Louisville located next to the old location.
“The University was very interested in the property for expansion purposes,” says Jeremy Smith, operations manager for Equipment Depot of Louisville. ”There were a lot of memories created at the old branch, but the move is beneficial for everyone. Our team here is extremely excited about the move and helping customers in the new facility.”
The old location is located at:
2921 South Floyd Street
The new location is at:
4820 Crittenden Drive
Suite 200
Louisville, KY 40209
The phone number (502) 636-2000 will remain the same.
